Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead learning and development (L&D) functions for Minor Food Corporate and Unit Support Centre (USC) through strategic directions, initiatives and communication to build and improve people capability of both individuals and teams, reflecting the DRIVE culture and company’s Core Values, to deliver business goals and objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate L&D Strategy and Initiatives for Minor Food Corporate, ensuing that they support business directions and goals.
  • Prepare and monitor L&D annual Budget and CAPEX, ensuring that expenditures are spent effectively and are in line with the budget.
  • Identify training needs and provide then most effective and efficient L&D solutions that address business and organisational challenge.
  • Oversee the preparation and communication of the Annual Training Calendar using necessary tools and resources to promote awareness and positive employee experience.
  • Champion learning culture through IDP (individual development plan) for USC employees through close collaboration with HRBU (Human Resources Business Unit) to ensure quality IDP and monitor progress and completion of L&D activities.
  • Champion Onboarding programme for Minor Food Corporate and USC employees through systems utilisation and partnership with HRBU, ensure that the Onboarding programmes are well-planned, coordinated, communicated and monitored by all concerned parties.
  • Work closely with Talent Director on Talent development programmes, supporting the Talent team to develop, execute and evaluate L&D initiatives for Talents.
  • Work closely with HRBUs and Counterparts to develop capability of people in their business units as well as to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee all aspects of training activities, including Company Orientation, for all USC employees such as contents and materials development, planning, communication, organisation, attendance recording and evaluation.
  • Review and maintain Minor Food L&D Framework, course catalogue and activities, ensuring that they are up-to-date and in line with Company’s competency.
  • Oversee the utilisation of L&D tools, programs and systems, ensure that the tools and systems are fully utilised and that there are sufficient qualified Trainers/Champions for each program.
  • Champion learning culture and communicate learning activities effectively through various employee communication channels available to create positive employee experience.
  • Develop and drive Knowledge Management throughout the organisation via strategic initiatives, tools and systems.
  • Oversee the administration and accuracy of training database such as master training database, employee training records, training costs, trainer lists, etc.
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly L&D performance review presentation.
  • Oversee the preparation of periodic L&D reports.
  • Work with both internal and external partners on L&D projects.
  • Lead, coach and manage Corporate L&D team members to execute initiatives and deliver business outcome through various interactions such as goals setting, performance feedback, performance review, IDP, etc.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings, activities and training as required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or any related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources development field with international companies.
  • English proficient and computer literate.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong coaching and facilitating skills.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Technology savvy.
