Job Description

Job Purpose:

To assist the Human Resources Director in implementing training and development activities, ensuring that they are in line with the company goals and strategies.  This includes planning, budgeting, development, execution, coordination, monitor and evaluation of training activities and materials.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·     Assists in the preparation of the Annual Training Plan and Budget, ensuring that courses are implemented as planned and that the budget is managed effectively.

·     Prepares and updates related manuals, ensuring that the most updated version is always available at all stores.

·     Administers training records for USC and stores, ensuring that they are kept up to date.

·     Be responsible for the timely completion and submittal of training records and reports.

·     Certifies and re-certifies Training Stores, ensuring that they meet requirements at all times.

·     Visits stores regularly, observing service quality and provide feedback to the Operations team.

·     Reviews the customer feedback, e.g. comment cards, Sizzler GM, MC, QSC, and together with the Operations team take necessary action to improve the performance.

·     Administers claims for training activities, ensuring that details are correct and that they are allocated to the correct account codes.

·     Assists in the compilation and implementation of all employee communications.

·     Ensures that the recommended quota of Departmental Trainers is trained for each store.

·     Conduct Training Audit at least once a year for all stores.

·     Assists in conducting HR Audit as necessary.

·     Organises activities for new store opening and store re-opening.

·     Responds to the results of the Employee Opinion Survey and ensures that the relevant changes are implemented.

·     Ensures that the office is kept clean and organised.

·     Exercises responsible behaviours at all times and positively representing Sizzler and Minor.

·     Maintains strong professional relationship with relevant representatives of other departments, brands, competitors, business partners and organisations.

·     Maintains high standard of personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

·     Assist in organising HR activities as required.

·     Attends training and meetings as required.

·     Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or any related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Human Resources development field with international companies.
  • English proficient and computer literate.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong coaching and facilitating skills.
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Technology savvy.
