Job Description
- Take on Data Protection Champion (DPC) role and be a focal point of contact on Data Protection and Privacy related matters within Minor Food Group for members of staff, MINT Data Protection Office, regulators, and any relevant public bodies on issues related to data protection and data privacy
- Provide Data Protection and Privacy related consultation and ensure the training for the company and employees is in place
- Liaise with MINT Data Protection Office auditor, IT units, and security team in personal data privacy, risk management, and audit compliance ensure compliance and address the potential issues to the remediation actions.
- Constant review data protection compliance arrangements to include updating policies and guidance, centralizing processes and putting in place robust, time-bound remedial plans where necessary. Maintain relevant global internal data privacy policies
- Partner with all brands and key business areas and IT Security team, to ensure data privacy issues are considered at the outset of new projects, products, and initiatives.
- Work with MINT Data Protection Office, data privacy legal team and data protection team to ensure the data privacy addendum of data processing’s companies are in place.
- Liaise with stakeholders to acquire and maintain the consolidated view of compliance records.
- Act as a liaison to the company Data Protection Executive Committee in relation to global data privacy matters for the food group
- Ensure that compliance audits findings are reported and acted upon.
- Help manage the data privacy network across all global offices.
- Partner with MINT Data Protection Office and data privacy legal team to stay up-to-date with the international privacy laws impacting Minor Food Group.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or related field (preferably from overseas)
- Possession of a professional certification (CIPP/CIPM, etc.) is an advantage
- At least 7 year working experience at multi-national company with comprehensive knowledge of Governance, Risks, Compliance and Assurance
- Experience working in data protection compliance or a related field
- Experience in project management is considered an advantage
- People and team management experience
- Experience in working with senior management
