MINT announces the appointment of Kulshaan Singh as Chief People Officer

Minor International Public Company Limited (“MINT” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kulshaan Singh as the Company’s new Chief People Officer, replacing Khun Patamawalai Ratanapol, who will take on her new role as a Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of S&P Syndicate Public Company Limited (“SNP”), MINT’s long-standing strategic partner. Kulshaan will be responsible for building and managing MINT’s global employer brand across its three core business groups - Minor Hotels, Minor Food, and Minor Lifestyle.
 


 

Based out of MINT’s headquarters in Bangkok, Kulshaan will oversee the “People Agenda” of the Company as it continues to roll out its strategic digital and people solution to attract, motivate and retain talents. He will also play a significant role in the Company’s organisation transformation. He will report directly to Dillip Rajakarier, Chief Operating Officer of MINT. 

William E. Heinecke, Founder and Chairman of MINT, commented on the appointment, “We are thrilled to welcome Kulshaan Singh to our executive team as the company’s new Chief People Officer. Dillip Rajakarier, Chief Operating Officer of MINT, commented “Today’s business climate and consumer behaviour are changing at a very fast pace. Company culture needs to evolve in order to stay relevant. Kulshaan’s rich expertise and experience will provide exceptional value for the company to achieve its strategic goals. Kulshaan will not only lead the human resources agenda for the group, but he will work closely with other key departments in the organisation on various transformation projects”. Prior to this appointment, Kulshaan served as Group Chief People Officer at C.P. Group, where he managed HR functions across the group. He has 20 years of global experience in the professional services and management consulting industry, with expertise in talent & leadership development, organisation change & HR transformation, employee engagement, and performance. He has experience working with people across the globe and has lived in Thailand, Malaysia, India and Singapore. Some of his notable roles include Managing Director of Aon Hewitt Southeast Asia and CEO of Mercer Singapore. He has delivered significant value in ensuring the alignment of people agenda and companies’ strategic goals for the CEOs and has partnered in execution and implementation of transformation strategies. 

Kulshaan expressed his excitement to embark on this his new chapter at MINT, “Minor International’s story is immensely inspiring. The opportunities and challenges ahead will offer me an experience to lead and make an impact on the lives of our 85,000 employees and growing.” He further noted that his priorities include growth and skill building opportunities for the Company’s highly engaged workforce. “We will also strengthen our position as stewards of the group’s strategy and strive to meld work, passion and purpose for each of our employees. In the meantime, we will continue to promote health and the well-being for all employees as well as create a uniquely diverse and inclusive global workforce”, Kulshaan added. 

Driven by curiosity and drive to give back, Kulshaan has been closely associated with several prestigious academic institutions. He is adjunct faculty at Sasin (MBA), Panyapiwat Institute of Management (iMBA) and NUS Singapore Business School (BBA and MBA). He also teaches at BBA International Program at Thammasat University. He obtained an MBA from XLRI School of Management Jamshedpur, India and had a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, specialising in man-machine productivity.
